FAQ

Why is the game for 18 and over? Lots of teens do improv.
Blame the lawyers. Realistically, this game can be played by anyone, but as it's improvisational, you never know how someone might play out a role. Additionally, some cards could deal with situations of an adult nature (even if the kids already know about it.)

If you have concerns about the game but would still like to play it with your family, we suggest looking through the cards first and removing any you may find objectionable.

I don't know enough people to play the game, but I want to play! What do I do?
Well, you could start a meetup group, but a simpler solution would be to consider how many people you have that you can play with. If it's just one or two others, you could simply play without the competition/judging aspects, and just have fun with it. Also, if you are alone, it's great as a creative writing exersize. take a couple of random character cards, a location and conflict, and write a short story. You can still practice your skills whis way.

I want to carry Act Out in my store. Can I order it directly?
Well, umm... I guess the answer would be Hell YES! Just contact us and let us know how to get ahold of you, where you are and how many decks you want.

I've got a great idea for a card. You want to hear it?
Sure! Let us know. Keep in mind that we try to keep the cards in broad categories so a player has many possibilities of how to play it, so a "hipster" character would be too limiting. We are planning future expantions to the original deck, so ideas are always welcome!
